iPhone iNsanity

{ 26 Jun 2007 }

With just a few days to go before the release of the iPhone, people are going insane. This includes Apple itself, which is pushing the boundaries of what iTunes should do. Remember when iTunes simply played and downloaded music? Now, despite its music-focused name, the application has been tasked with setting up your AT&T account and managing your iPhone syncing needs. Sure, iTunes makes sense from a deployment perspective (the app has great market penetration) but perhaps a name change is in order.

Even better are the people who have started queuing up outside Apple Stores across the country. Gotta respect that entrepreneurial spirit.

It’s a complete madness :) At least, this is how it looks to be, watching the “phenomenon” from Europe (here the people waits . An euphoric state of mind, not quite covered by the features gathered on this new gadget. But the product is hardly awaited here – some rumours says it will be launched on Christmass, in the same “mkt buzz” manner.

Nice thouts.

Before iphone 3g was released, the iphone lack of 3g cellular network support was widely criticized.
